Ah, how time, drink, and smoke has eroded the brain cells. Late summer 2002 should be a time that I vividly remember but the timeline seems to get lost in the cloud of my age. This is the main reason that I am archiving my DVD masters and writing this blog. Tying to jog the memory.
I have little memory of that summer. Just momentary flashbacks. Inspection stickers. Iced coffee. Train rides to Cleveland and back. BDSM Parties. The minor league baseball game where I made KC wear a crotchrope under her shorts. Diners. The time I had too much weed at a private play party (rolling eyes – that made quit smoking for over a decade). Hiding porn from her daughter when she had visitation. Trying to get KC to jog with me. Oil furnaces in creepy basements. The Bondcon I missed. Where things get more fuzzy is after KC’s job ended. I know I went back to Ohio and KC came with me, as she was my assistant for the shoot with Vivian in mid July and discovered Madison early August. So let me back up to the Bondcon that I missed. Sometime that day I must have spoken with the con organizers, Genesis Lynn, Mike, and Vesta. I was at the first con and had bought a table for the second one, even though I had not used it. There must have been that con conversation, like, you know, ‘I would love to shoot with you sometime’. ‘Of course’. ‘Lets book it sometime’. Sometimes they happen. Sometimes they do not. Well, according to my records and my 26th video, Vesta agreed to shoot with me. KC accompanied me to this shoot, so what I think went down is KC and I made a trip back in mid August to pack up her apartment, or maybe just to do her nails ;) . I do remember she made trips back home for no other reason to get her nails done, she trusted no one in Ohio to do them lol. So in late August I went with KC to either pack her stuff and or get her nails done and booked the shoot with Vesta on the way back to Ohio. I can figure this from the time stamps on the raw images from the shoot.
I can, however, remember many things about the shoot, as I do with all my shoots. Each shoot is a highlight of my life that gets burned into brain cells that are impervious to alcohol or weed or time. KC and I stopped by Mike and Vesta’s home on our way back to Cleveland, driving KC’s Blazer. It was late afternoon, Vesta was still at work. The living room was a makeshift office with Mike, Genesis Lynn, and long time assistant Drew working on computers. I also know I was intimidated as hell, but they, then as now, are the nicest people I have worked and associated with. They made KC and I feel at home. It is the main reason I supported the con as a sponsor or booth renter and attendee over the 20 years since.
Vesta arrives home from work, apologetic and sweet as ever. She was ready to go from the minute she walked in the door. I pulled out my clothesline right in front of everyone and did scene one, hogtying V in her work clothes on the couch in front of everybody. After the first scene wrapped, I wanted V in less clothing, so we retired to their guest bedroom for clips 2 and 3.
None of my early videos would go by without a crotchrope predicament scene. This video is no exception. On hindsight over my career, had I had stuck to this formula, I would been able to work with almost all of the ‘fetish’ models that have come and gone in the industry.
When I would shoot models multiple times, they develop that comfort that allows them to do the orgasm scene with me. I am fortunate to have over the years been able to play with many models on a level that they did not do with other producers. I started building my reputation as to what I wanted out of my models in these videos in my early 20s (DVD series speaking) that led to the style of intimate BDSM that I still shoot today. I would have shot more of the ‘fetish’ models if I had kept a partner, not it was not no be. I could not settle on one partner. But I seem to have done all right anyway.
As I rendered out this DVD and looked at the art, I see the scenes with KC and Vivian that I describe for DVD 25 on the back of DVD 26. I think I may have moved them there in the DVD re mastering I did in the mid 2000s. I think the original scene 4 for this video was a throw away scene I did with Elena originally shot for DMV 03. Most likely, I had to remove and delete some personal play KC scenes from 25 after we broke up, and moved the Vivian scenes to 26 before she wanted those scenes removed. I just pulled the DVD but kept the master. So therefore, on this particular video you see two long time fetish stars having orgasms on camera, Vivian has never done one since and if Vesta did, it would only be for her sites. Having said that, V did one more shoot with me in Florida but for this blog that is quite a ways down the line.
